Working for a company that is directly affected by the current recession and living in a city where its being said that 1 out of every 5 person will be directly affected by it, I’ve noticed a great augmentation of activity on Linked In. While majors changes have affected most companies out there, people getting laid off or changing job, the networking site is now more popular then ever.

With uncertainty for mostly everybody regarding their jobs, everybody wants to keep in touch with those who moved on or are have fallen victim to the job cuts enforced by these difficult economic times, business contacts and others.

It would be interesting to see how much of a popularity gain Linked In got in the last couple of months.

Check it out. www.linkedin.com
